This was my first time volunteering at a hostel and I had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the other travelers were also kind and easy to get along with. The place itself is beautiful and cozy. I really appreciated their flexibility when they allowed me to leave a day earlier.Overall, I had a fantastic time, and I would definitely recommend this experience.Thank you for hosting me! I had a truly wonderful experience.

I really enjoyed working at A&O Weimar! The work is explained to you clearly before your shift so you know what to do, and they don’t give you any truly difficult tasks. There’s always plenty of time off and even some weekends where you can go explore other cities or just chill. But most importantly, the people at the hostel were really welcoming towards Worldpackers, and they’re super helpful! :)

It was awesome, I've been here last year and now again and ofc I can highly recommend to every worldpacker around the world to come to AO in Weimar. Staff friendly, easy tasks, and the food is awesome as well. Thx AO

Yo estuve en la cocina, me tocó lavar platos, limpiar mesas, barrer y trapear el piso. Así como limpiar el buffet después del desayuno o de la cena (cena no hay todos los días, sólo si un grupo en especial lo requiere). También me tocaron night watchs, donde recorría todo el edificio asegurándome que todos estuvieran en silencio.
Todos los días desayunaba con los trabajadores, lo que me ayudó mucho a mejorar mi alemán.
Todos me trataron siempre con mucho respeto, fueron muy amables y comprensibles.
A pesar de que se te promete 1 comida al día, puedes tomar lo que sobra del bufet y no comprar.
