This was a great volunteering experience for me. The tasks are easy to learn and the working hours are respected. The staff was helpful and friendly, and they even included me in their end of the year celebrations.
You get to eat a breakfast buffet everyday (you can take leftovers if you want) and you have access to the guest kitchen for the rest of your meals.
Weimar is a nice city, very nearby to other cool places you can visit like Erfurt, Jena or Naumburg.
Also, if you want to practice German, I highly recommend it.

Weimar is a beautiful city and the hostel has a very international and welcoming atmosphere.
However, the main issue of this experience was the workload. Being the only Worldpacker, the amount of work was too heavy for a volunteering position, especially due to the lack of staff to cover missing workers. Even though the Worldpackers description states a maximum of 25h per week, I was given a 30h contract. I contacted them for a receptionist role, but I was assigned kitchen work without being informed in advance. Greater clarity and transparency would significantly improve the experience.

It was first volunteering for me so I was little bit nervous at first time but staff was really welcoming and kind. Location is also awesome you can explore some other city
