Shared Dorms

Travelers will stay in a traveler-exclusive hostel designed to foster community and connection. The accommodation offers mixed-gender dorms for up to 8 people, creating a fun, social vibe. Facilities include shared bathrooms with refreshing cold showers—perfect for the tropical heat—and a workspace with high-speed WiFi (over 100 Mbps). It is important to note that the accommodation is separate from the project site; the group will travel less than 30 minutes to reach the location where activities take place, offering a nice balance between active days and relaxing nights.

Arrival orientation

our journey begins with a stress-free arrival. Travelers will be picked up directly from Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José. A pre-arranged transfer ensures a smooth start to your adventure. Look for the team member holding a sign to identify your ride at the arrivals area. From there, the group will enjoy a scenic drive (approx. 4-5 hours) across the country to the Nicoya Peninsula to settle in. Full details on timing and meeting points will be provided after booking to ensure you arrive confidently and safely.

The hosts are deeply embedded in the local ecosystem, working closely with the Agricultural Producers Association of the region. They created this space to share the possibilities of permaculture and sustainable autonomy. Committed to education and cultural exchange, they offer a welcoming environment where travelers can learn real-world eco-skills and see how alternative living models work in practice.
