Absolutely loved to spend time with the other volunteers, and Giuseppe - working , hiking and making food. You will get to practice Italian, and learn how to prepare good Italian food everyday. As the other volunteers above me mentions, the hours are long, but that also contains the socialising, language-practice and food preparations. So if you don't mind “working”, it won't be a problem. I got to join yoga classes on my days off, even a Thai-massage workshop. I would not want to be without my stay at the farm.

I absolutely loved the friendship with the other volunteers. I liked the food and the cooking vibe with Giuseppe. Beautiful place. Dorms are ok. Things should be improved: Is specified that the work hours are from 8 to 12:30, and help with meals, but he never mention clearly the time required for the last. Preparing lunch and dinner aprox. 1.5 h each, then 1 h cleaning. Real working h. per day aprox. 9.5, no 5. If you want breakfast you'll have to buy it and prepare it by yourself. Personality of the host could be peculiar, with me all ok, but not for everyone else. Volunteers are essential.

The good: The place is beautiful, and overall I had the best few weeks, mostly due to the other amazing volunteers, such beautiful people. I also fell in love with Julia and Guiseppe, the kindest souls ever <3 Now, I understand Antonello has a dry humor but he doesn't make an effort to put people around him at ease, he makes jokes and says things that are uncomfortable & inappropriate. We didn't feel supported by him, he wasn't very present and when we went to him with problems he told us to figure it out ourselves. Some teachers also share outdated views that are uncomfortable to listen to

My stay at the farm had it all. Met amazing friends and Giulia and Giuseppe made me feel like family. However, the work hours are more than 30: we start at 8 and continue until 14 when we finish cleaning lunch. Then we prepare dinner at 18.30 and finish cleaning up around 21. Antonello doesn't communicate well with volunteers, he's not attentive and he's not very present. It's curious, as the place seems to be maintained by the work of volunteers. I was worried by the fact that the only employee on the farm had only one day off during my stay (4 weeks) and looked exhausted.

My stay at the yogafarm was intense. I feel extremely lucky because the other volunteers that were with me became my friends and I will cherish them forever. But if that hadn't been the situation I would have left earlier. The host, Antonello, had incredibly poor communication with the volunteers, there was extremely bad management on his part. I didn't feel comfortable around him. There were situations when I didn't feel respected. The job is a lot of hours and hard. Giuseppe and Giulia on the other part are extremely kind and beautiful people, I only wish them the best.

It was a great experience, but I recommend to go there in summer. I went the in February, that was the only downside. I was the only volenteer at that time, so I got kinda lonely and bored sometimes. Also I was kinda cold all the time, because the place had no proper heating except for a fireplace and also the are no Yoga classes during the off season. Still I really enjoyed my stay because of the nice and welcoming atmosphere, the easy work and the nature around the farm. So if you go in summer I promise you you will have a amazing time. Italy is beautiful!

I had a good time at the farm, i met incredible people with huge hearts and beautiful energy. The place was really beautiful but it was lacking a lote in the facilities for the winter, the bathroom was outside when it was freezing at night, it had no heating system besides the fireplace that didn't do to much, i think this is experience is better for summer and spring, i don't recommend going during winter. The town was beautiful and surrounded by nature. I'm happy to keep a lot of good memories and new friendships that this trip and experience gave me, thank you very much for the opportunity

I had the most incredible time ever. Everyone on the property are amazing people. There was a lot of work but I found it all very enjoyable and a great learning opportunity. Antonello works very well with all of the volunteers. The property is absolutely stunning, the food is delicious, and the people were all kind, interesting people that I greatly enjoyed bonding with. Thank you so much, Antonello for this amazing experience. It will defiantly stay with me, and I hope to return one day soon!

This was my first volunteering and I could not wish for better! From the first day I felt so welcome by Antonello and Giuseppe. I learned a lot about nature, cooking organic food and the Italian culture. Giuseppe was the best teacher to learn to speak Italian and teaching me about different aspects of farming, he was always so patient to explain everything. Antonello made the experience about much more than only volunteering. He treated us as family and would take us on hikes, organised activities and would tell a lot of funny stories. Grazie mille per tutto!
