My time at the eco village was truly transformative!! Rob and Rebe are exceptional hosts, ensuring volunteers are comfortable and having a postive experience. Rebe's three daily vegetarian meals were SO delicious and healthy. Rob expertly managed logistics and shared his extensive knowledge of environmental science and turtle conservation. The immersive activities and vibrant community left a lasting impact on me. I highly recommend this experience to anyone seeking cultural immersion, sustainability education, and adventure. I look forward to returning!

This was such a wonderfully cozy wild experience. I can't imagine another place in the world that is so truly jungle while also catering to a comfortable and beautiful experience!

The experiences that Rob and Rebe created at the eco-village were absolutely incredible! They are both so kind and passionate about the work they do on the farm. I highly recommend taking this trip and hope to one day to return myself.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Finca. Rob, Rebe and Anna are such wonderful hosts. It is clear to see how passionate Rob is about turtle conservation and sustainability efforts, which creates a super fun learning environment. Rebe is a fantastic chef, all of the meals we enjoyed were super delicious and clearly made with love (she would also point out the ingredients in the meal that came from the garden, which was nice). The volunteer work wasn't too intense, though it was rewarding. I'd absolutely stay here again. The beach is a 5 minute walk and we ended every day watching the sunset 🫶

I had an absolutely amazing experience at the eco village! Rebe and Rob were incredible hosts and we learned so much during our time there. Would definitely recommend you explore this part of Costa Rica!

I attended a group trip here at the eco village and had a great time with all of the incredible women I met during my time here. That being said, Rob and Rebe were really sweet but slightly passive aggressive towards the end of our stay, not mentioning to our host about end of trip activities and making sly comments in spanish that girls in our group understood and communicated to the rest of us. Additionally, during one of the turtle night patrols (the reason this trip was hosted) the group was led in an unprofessional manner by a woman not at finca and was joined by outside groups.

This was definitely a trip to remember! I met the most amazing group of girls and i did learn a lot about sustainability and turtle conservation from the hosts. Turtle patrol was split into 2 groups and my group was lucky to see some and our host was the leader for that patrol and took it very serious which I appreciated, can't say the same for the 2nd group which I heard their leaders did not take it seriously. Food was 9/10 and there were some passive comments made by the hosts towards other girls in the group that made it uncomfortable towards the end but overall i enjoyed it.

I joined a Worldpackers trip with Finca and was disappointed. The hosts often spoke in ways that made me uncomfortable—for example, offering store trips then shaming me when I asked to go. The turtle patrols, the main reason I signed up, were poorly run. Although groups were split for smaller numbers, mine was later joined by five extra people, many distracted on their phones, which reduced our chances of spotting turtles. The highlight was Bonnie, who kept spirits high and brought our group together. Without her and the other girls, the trip would have felt like a total loss.
