As a volunteer, you will focus on helping our students improve their English speaking skills in a supportive, home-based environment. If you are reading this, you just found the best volunteer option. My girlfriend and I stayed at the school's place for almost a month and felt like part of the family. the school and Susanti took great care of us, cooked amazing Indonesian food, showed us local activities and even welcomed us to family and friends gatherings. We truly call them our Indonesian parents. Also, the school's students were wonderful, showing us places and practicing English with us. Thank you the school and Susanti, we hope to see you again!

This experience was truly lovely and wonderful. It felt like living with family who welcomed us warmly from beginning to end. the school and his wife Susanti are amazing people with a lot of experience hosting foreigners. We felt very comfortable staying with them and practicing English with their students, who were always kind and welcoming as well. Through this, we learned a lot about the local culture and enjoyed the beautiful landscapes around the village. Thank you so much, the school and Susanti, for taking care of us like our own parents. The school is an incredible host with a long history of hosting travellers. Through our 1 week stay with him, we were able to get a glimpse of the local culture in his hometown. He let us try many activities like attending a local wedding and watching a traditional dance performance. We also got the chance to talk to many of his connections (especially his students) and learn more about Indonesian/Javanese culture. the school and his family are friendly and generous people whom you will feel right at home with. We consider ourselves lucky to have met them in our first Worldpackers trip.

To stay with the school and his wife was one of the best things I did on my 5 month travel. You'll get so many different culture shocks. You will always have program and you definitely never get hungry. Who wants to see the javanese culture should come here.
