We have two rooms to paint in our house in beautiful Ullapool. It is a great way to see the Highlands of Scotland and we are very kind and honest people. You will have a flat to stay in the village (as we live just outside). It is right on the shorefront/in the centre of town and newly renovated.

Programmdetails

Painting - Two bedrooms in our family home.

You will be working alongside myself so a little information about me. I have worked abroad for many years and I have done cultural exchanges, which have been some of my most enjoyable travelling experiences. I also grew up with cultural exchanges in my own home as a child and my cousins who live close also do it, so there is a good community of travellers that you could be in contact with. It is something that I have very much been involved in throughout my life and love the opportunity that I can now host.

We are looking for people who have had some experience in painting, easy going and are up for physical work.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

We do 3 days a week 9am-5pm so that volunteers have time off to enjoy and explore the area.

When you do help us it will be with myself and we are wanting to create a fun environment to be in and share our culture and Highland way of life.

We have a two bedroom flat in the centre of the village which looks out to the sea and harbour. The flat has been completely renovated, so it is lovely and very homely. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom (with bath and shower), open kitchen living area and entrance space. This accommodation plus daily food is included for 24 hours of help per week. The building is located on the shorefront of Ullapool and the bedrooms look out to the sea so have fantastic views.
