I had a really great experience in the hostel. The work in the restaurant is quite easy, mostly taking orders and payments, but someone from the permanent staff is always there to help. Due to the low season in November the shifts were a bit slow, but the whole town is quite chill and out of tourists at this time. We got cooked lunch and dinner every day, and also some cold basics for breakfast. Ana, the manager is always accessible, it's easy to communicate whether you have questions or needs. I had a nice, clean and supportive environment here, I really recommend to volunteer here.

I loved my stay at the hostel! The work at the restaurant is just as in the description, can be very busy, but in a good way. The hostel is amazing, nice and cozy, and the staff is very friendly. Ana is really nice, always helpful and flexible. I recommend this experience a 100%, you can explore a lot around Portimao, you can reach almost everything by train.

It was an amazing experience in the hostel! The place was pretty and cozy, Ana was really nice with us and always attentive and helpful :) Portimao is a very quiet town but it's very good located to visit all Algarve!! I definitely recommend it!

Had a great time in Portimao!! The hostel is amazing and cozy! Ana is very sweet and explained everything, about the program in the administration, that it takes couple days to completely get it! The other volunteers were also amazing!

I had an amazing experience at the hostel, the girls i met were absolutely lovely and we had the best time together! The work was easy and fair. The local is very central in portimao and close to the train and bus stations which is helpful. A really good base to explore the Algarve!

My experience as a volunteer was amazing. I had a great time at the hostel and in the city, plus I had plenty of free time to visit other places and really explore the Algarve. Ana, the manager, is super friendly and always available to answer any questions. The work isn't hard, although it could get a bit overwhelming sometimes, especially because it was the high season for tourism. The food wasn't the best, but everything else was great. I also made really good friends with other volunteers and have so many great memories. I highly recommend it!

Volunteering at the hostel was lovely. The work is easy to learn and even though it gets a bit messy and overwhelming sometimes, i truly enjoyed it. :) Ana is such a sweet host. She always answered all my questions and helped me whenever i needed it. The hostel is very nice and cosy and it's about 40 minutes walk away from the Portimão beaches. The only thing that disappointed me was the food provided but other than that i had a wonderful experience that i'm very grateful for. I'd recommend this to everyone! :)

I loved everything about my experience at the hostel! The other volunteers were amazing, along with the staff and Ana. The hostel is super clean and aesthetic and it was a bonus that they had such a nice place to chill out in our down time (the pool!) the work was really easy and it didn't take very long to get the hang of. Portimao is beautiful and not too busy, with nice beaches about 30-40 minutes walk away and there is plenty of other towns close by to explore as well. I would recommend this experience to everyone!

No he podido tener más suerte de haber experimentado todo este tiempo en Portimao. No hubiese pensado que podría conectar con tanta gente de diferentes nacionalidades. Ana es un encanto, siempre pendiente de que te estés sintiendo cómoda, podría decir que se ha convertido en una amiga para mi. Recomiendo esta experiencia al 100%

I had a great experience at the hostel! The work was not hard, mostly reception and helping in the cafe when needed. The other girls I volunteered with were amazing and became some of my best friends! The staff at the hostel and the cafe were all very kind and great to work with as well. Ana was a great host, she is kind and genuinely cares about the volunteers and wants to make sure we are happy. She has a lot of trust in the volunteers with managing the responsibilities of the hostel. I was able to do tons of exploring on my days off and make lots of friends!
