Programmdetails

The building is a previous hotel, restaurant, cafe, cultural center that has been abandoned for 25y which we are reviving now ((ground floor nearly ready!) and turn it back into its original grandeur with the same functions, but focus on doing good for the community: do programs to tackle loneliness, poverty and access to healthy food, especially for people who have less. We organize two concerts per week, monthly stand up comedy, xmas parties, santa claus, easter egg hunting, all for free to assure people with nothing to spend can join as well and like this we try to create a community where people care for each other and help each other out.

We have hosted about 400 volunteers until now and most stay longer then expected or come back for a second time because they love it so much. Always between 4 and 15 volunteers from all over the world. We have great accommodation for leisure time: ping pong, foosball, games, library, instruments, even a real theatre stage!

Aktivitäten & Schichten

Each cooks on turn, everyone helps 5hrs/day, 5 days/week, and we spend 1hr a day keeping the place tidy.
Some renovation tasks like sanding and painting, but also bartending or some computer tasks and help in the garden can be needed: very versatile and we seek help that matches your skills and experience.
Minimum stay is two weeks, but longer is better to get the full experience.
