My experince at the hostel was amazing! The free surf and yoga lessons were unmatched! The staff was very kind and respectful, truely one of my favorite places and people to work with! The hours were always respected and the work was easily doable once you got the hang of it. My volunteer girlies and Juan were the best company I could have asked for🫶 Truely amazing people and an incredible time I will never forget. Thank you the hostel for everything🙏

I enjoyed my time here so much I decided to cancel my flight back home and extend a few days . Rodrigo ,Bea and Manduxo are so kind and welcoming . My first day here already felt like I had been here for months . I loved the yoga classes ,pool , the hammocks , surf lessons . The location is perfect . Only 5 min walk to Pingo (supermarket) , 10min walk to the beach , and 2 min walk to the station that will take you to the hostel (20min) and Cascais (15min). It was the perfect way to spend my summer ! Thank you to all the volunteers and staff I've created lifelong memories here :)

The hostel is wonderful: lot of green, lot of space and a swimming pool. It was super easy to get along with people. And here I met truly some of the best I have ever met. Rodrigo was a friend before than a manager and this helped me a lot while doing the assigned shifts: he was always kind and ready to help me. The shifts are very easy to do, sometimes in the busiest days it can get more intense, but it's normal. It is a very fair exchange. I wish you to be as lucky as I was to live this experience. LSH was one of the best thing happened in my life. Truly a home away from home.

It was my first time volunteering and I couldn't have had a better experience. Everybody, from the managers and volunteers to the guests, were extremely nice. Rodrigo was such a chill person so he really made you feel welcome there. Mandux was super funny and welcoming as well. I stayed there for a month but it felt like a week. I got to visit amazing places with incredible views. I also got the chance to surf a bit. I am truly grateful to have been part of the team even if was for a short period of time.

The month I spent here at the hostel has been nothing short of perfection. Everything about this place made me feel so at home, and Nuno & Rodrigo were amazing hosts who always made sure the volunteers were being treated well. The work is well balanced and is quite easy to pick up once you get the hang of it, but even so there is always someone who can help if you're unsure. Definitely didn't expect to have such a hard time saying goodbye, but I am so so grateful to have been able to be a part of this incredible experience and to have met the people who made it so special 🫶

I absolutely loved my stay at the hostel! I remember feeling so at home after only a few days. The entire team is so welcomeing and kind and you really feel like a part of team! The hours are good and the work is fair. Everything is very structured and nice and the schedule is easy to plan around. Overall I had a fantastic stay and would love to come back if I ever get the chance!

From my very first day at the hostel, I felt so welcomed, and the month flew by! It's a fun, friendly environment, and with lessons and rentals included, it's the perfect place to learn to surf. The volunteer hours are always respected, shifts are flexible, and the tasks are more than manageable. In fact, many of the shifts felt more like an opportunity to socialise than actual work! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone considering volunteering here. Thank you to everyone who made my stay so special! See you again 🫶🏼

My stay at the hostel was nothing less than perfect and I will forever be grateful to have had the chance to become a part of the LSH family 🩷🫶 The staff and volunteers are friendly and welcoming and will take you in with open arms. The work is well structured, easily manageable and in case of doubts the staff is always available to answer questions and offer guidence. This volunteer experience will give you all of the best! Where should I begin, my volunteering experience at the hostel was absolutely amazing! The team of volunteers and staff made me feel at home from day one and I always felt supported and safe. The tasks were easy to understand and I always had someone by my side if I needed help. The hostel's location was perfect, just minutes from the fabulous beach and surf school. I'm incredibly grateful for all the memories I've made here and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new adventure. This place will always hold a special spot in my heart❤️

The hostel was an amazing hostel to volunteer at. Their motto, "Home away from home" really describes the vibe of the hostel. I am truly grateful for all the people I met, for the welcoming atmosphere at the hostel, and overall for the month I got to live the LSH lifestyle. I would 100% come back to this volunteer opportunity and would without hesitation recommend it to everybody who is looking for a great volunteer experience:)
