My stay at the project was very enjoyable. It was a good opportunity for me to develop some construction and gardening skills. The place was cosy and I was surrounded by friendly people. The natural scenery around is beautiful and there is a lake nearby you can swim and kayak. I recommend highly.

Terra vie is a lovely place to reconnect with nature and learn about it. They definetly created a magical place! Paul wasn't there during my stay but therefore Michel acted in place of him. Work was always really fun, Michel has a lots of humour and it was like a small family. I could improve my french during my stay and learned about what it's like to work in a sustainable project. Would highly recommend to stay here!

She did a lot of planting,painted a house, reorganizing the house, weeding. She was always on time, didn‘t need many instructions and spend the free time with Michel while trying to improve the French language.

Paul was a great host. We really enjoyed our time there. The work was fair and not too demanding, we had no trouble adapting even though it was our first experience. We recommend taking the canoe to work!

I couldn't hope for better. At Paul's, we are welcomed with open arms, and his kindness is infinite. I came during a fairly calm period, so the work was not very tiring but still interesting. Paul is a true nature lover and the project is incredible, and will become even more so as the years go by.. Paul, thank you for everything!!

The project est un projet génial ! Les heures n'étaient pas trop longues et il y avait d'autres bénévoles avec qui communiquer. Parfois, il était difficile de savoir à quelle heure nous commencions et ce qu'il fallait faire en premier, mais Paul et les autres étaient gentils et accommodants.

When I joined the project, Paul had an unexpected problem and he needed to find someone to watch the animals at his friend's house. At first it was only supposed to be for a few days, but I was here almost the whole time. Paul bought me the food I needed and made sure I have everything needed. He also took me to a restaurant, to a concert and to some pizza event. However, there is nothing around the project, next time I would stay a maximum of two weeks to connect with nature. Paul is very open-minded, communication can be difficult and when he tells you he will arrive at 3, he will at 6 sometimes😃

Paul est vraiment accueillant, j'ai appris beaucoup de chose durant cette semaine, même si durant l'hiver il n'y a pas beaucoup de travail, l'endroit est paisible et la nature est vraiment belle. Habitant à Montréal je reviendrais à the project avec plaisir.

The project is a beautiful place with kind people. Paul is a nice guy, you can have great conversations in the evenings. I visited during the winter. In this time it was very quit, there were very little tasks for me to do and no other volunteers the first 3 weeks. So I was very happy that my friend joined me after one week. Although I believe the volunteering situation is very different in the summer and not to comparable. My friend and me did skiing and ice skating in our free days, as well as exploring the nature. Paul was very flexible in giving us time off to do whatever we wanted.

This was my 1st Worldpackers, I had some expectations but no comparison. I liked the project, however, the transportation from the house to other places was very complicated so I couldn't enjoy my free time as much as I was expecting. Because of weather conditions, there were tasks that unfortunately we end up not doing. That impacted a lot my experience during the volunteering. Plans changed a lot and communication was sometimes difficult. I think it's easier to communicate if you speak french. In my free time I managed to ski and ice skate and I have to thank Paul for making that happen!
