Das Erlebnis

We want to improve life on our small farm, we have sheep, goats, chickens and pigs.

We are looking for volunteers to help us take care of the animals all year round and to take care of the garden. The farm also needs maintenance of the buildings, as well as the fence.

During the summer we need help preparing food for the livestock, and in the winter we need help preparing firewood. We also need help with housework.

It takes approximately two and a half hours by bus from Belgrade to Veliko Gradište. I'm waiting for you in Veliko Gradište by car and we still have 20 km to drive to my village Desine.

During the winter I regularly carry out afforestation since I was a forester at one time, but also a ranger.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

We start the working day around 7:30 or around 8 o'clock in the morning, then we drink tea or coffee (we drink coffee throughout the day), breakfast is around 10 o'clock, lunch around 3 o'clock in the afternoon, dinner around 8 o'clock. I set it to be about 2 days free during the weekend, but it happens that we only work two days during the weekend because we have really many holidays here. That's why some days we might not work for 5 hours, maybe it will be longer, but that's why we'll have more days off. Here we are guided by a traditional way of life,

Regeln

I expect the house I rent to be clean. We live as vegans for part of the year, I don't expect anyone to follow these customs, but they can join us or if they want they can eat other food that is available with us. I think it is very important to eat together because it strengthens our bonds.
