I truly enjoyed my stay at the project. I felt very welcomed and respected at all times. I loved that you can easily make friends with Koreans or other travellers (amazing group btw.) The Apartment is decent, the only downside is the lack of sunlight and the beds, but apart from that everything worked very smooth and i had a lot of free time to explore the country or go out with new friends. Kayla and Brian were always helpful and very very kind people. I would definitely recommend this expierience to everyone who wants to socialise and dive deep in Korean culture

I've had a wonderful time at the project! Kayla and her husband are amazing people who truly cared about the volunteers and made sure we felt appreciated and well taken care of. I'm really going to miss the project and Cheongju, and I'd love to come back someday.

The Host and everyone met while in South Korea were amazing, everyone was super friendly, were able to answer every question I had, and I was able to meet every goal I had before moving there. Will definitely go again in the future!

Volunteering at the project was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the amazing hosts, Kayla and Brian, whose kindness and hospitality made my stay even more special. I had an incredible time meeting so many wonderful people from different backgrounds. The accommodation was fantastic, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it easy to settle in and enjoy my time there. The opportunity to volunteer here is something I would absolutely recommend to anyone.

When reading reviews I never know if they are telling the truth but please believe me when I say I absolutely loved working at the project. The work hour are very fair and easy with amazing students who are passionate about learning English and meeting people from around the world. The housing has everything you need. If you are traveling in a budget you can do so very easily or if not then there are lots of different restaurants and cafes really close to the house. Brian and Kayla are extremely nice and willing to help with anything if they can. I will definitely be coming back to the project xx

I really enjoyed my time at the project. The host, housemates, and students were extremely wonderful. It made me fall in love with Korea and it abundant culture. I would recommend this project for anyone who is looking for a welcoming and friendly environment to work in.

They say it's included breakfast lunch and dinner. I expected to have a lot of food. But we just could eat less than one egg a day. And there were just a lot of instant noodles, seaweed, oats. I left weeks before because I did not like the fact that we were living in a apartment owned by one of the volunteers, her name is Shay, she has been one year living there so you better get use to live under her rules. The schedules were ok, less work than I expected, cheongju definetely is a city where there is not much to do than just cafes. Nothing compared to other places in Korea.

Kayla and Brian were exceptional hosts. Made me feel beyond welcome. Part of the family. I loved the work and was a perfect way to be welcomed into the culture. Outstanding in every way possible. Will come again and do recommend.

I had a very good time at the project. This was my first time in Korea and travelling with worldpackers, and this has exceeded all my expectations. Kayla and Brian are super friendly, the work hours are very good, and i have made many new friends. I would highly recommend everyone to come! I hope I can see them again.

I came to work on my social skills and left with memories and friends. I would definitely do it again. The work is relatively easy, everyone is kind and it starts to feel like home after a while. I miss it
