My experience at eco hostel was amazing. Karma Diletta and Gabriele are just the best people ever. They made me feel at home and part of their family from the beginning. They're generous and caring people and I'm forever grateful that they made my experience so special and relaxed. The hostel is even more beautiful than the pictures show right now and the location is perfect. The work is easy and fun to do, because there's plenty of time to chat with the guests and relax. 5 weeks wasn't enough for me and I'd go back the first chance I get.

Working at Eco was a great way to meet travellers from all around. The job it's self is very easy and fun. The location is great, right beside the city centre. A beach is also a 20 min walk away. The staff is really friendly and will welcoming you as one of your own. It's one of the nicest hostels I've ever been to. All around great experience! Thank you Karma, Gabriele and Diletta ❤️

The hostel was my first volunteer experience away from home, since the first second Gabriele, Diletta, Karma, Monia and the other volunteer made me feel at home. They were always there when I had any doubt even if it was a tiny at 2am. As well as really cared that I was comfortable, happy and enjoying this experience. I truly recommend to come here!!! :) You will find a second home and people that will always be in your heart.

This was my first worldpackers experience and I had the best time at Eco Hostel! Thank you to Diletta, Gabrielle, Karma and Monia for making my stay so special. I felt very looked after in my home away from home for 6 weeks. The reception work is simple and relaxed, sometimes I spent hours just talking to other guests at the hostel while on shift. I will miss this special time I spent in Sicily (and sfincioni)! Thank you for everything. <3

The experience in eco hostel was great! The brothers who run the hostel are very sweet and welcoming, there is also a really sweet cat called eco! It was a shame that in this season they were not doing trips to etna and surroundings. I had a great time at the hostel meeting people and discovering sicilian food :) The work was allright nothing difficult and the timetables were fine too Big hug for Karma, Marco and Diletta

This is my first volunteer in Europe. I spent a month here and I could have stayed longer. The work is really simple and you have enough time to explore the city and other places in Sicily. It was a really enjoyable experience. Gabriele, Karma, Diletta and Monia are extraordinary kind, respectful and funny people. The hostel is a cozy place with a great unic style. There is also a cat "Eco" that loves playing around and sleep with the volunteers. I'm sad to leave but so grateful for having this time here and for all the sicilian food that is just amazing!!

The experience at the eco hostel was great. The shifts were easy and you have a lot of time to cuddle and play with the hostel cat. The managers care about volunteers and I had some good conversations with them. The hostel is cosy and close to the city centre. All in all, I can recommend the eco hostel for volunteering. :)

My time at the Eco Hostel was amazing! The managers are great, they care about the volunteers, take the time to get to know us. It was easy to communicate with them, anything I ever needed they were always there to help. I had many good laugh with them, they are truly funny. The work on the reception is very easy and understandable. The hostel itself is cozy, supercool decorations and warm vibes. I felt welcomed from the beginning and I met great people. The hostel is close to the city center and the sfincioni on the corner is the best thing I have ever eaten. Ecothehostelcatisthebest

Unfortunately i can't recommend volunteering at this hostel, volunteering experience i have had. The owner is just trying to get free labor from the volunteers. There's no employees in the hostel, just volunteers who are expected to run the hostel and take all the responsabilities of an employee. The owner is very demanding and made me uncomfortable at times. The sleeping conditions are very different from the pictures with beds falling apart. On worldpackers it says the meals are provided but u have to cook Isn't a good VOLUNTEERING experience unless you want to WORK for free

what you say is move just from the angry . you create a group in the hostel and your reviews is similar because you want just create trouble for the hostel, but that's is coherent with yours attitude in the hostel just ask and pretend without consideration for the propriety .
you enjoy our house until we decided to put you out because you go over

I had a good experience in eco hostel. Catania is a interesting place with good nightlife close to beautiful cities. The hostel has a good location near to the center. The work is very chill and is a small hostel so it's not difficult. You have the chance to meet the guests and that's cool. I had no experience as a receptionist and I learn a lot here. Thanks to Diletta and Karma! They did my experience here really comfortable and thanks for the help, for trying to solve the problems and the empathy. And also for giving me the chance to learn, improve and also trusting the process. Thank you!
