Volunteering in a yoga retreat centre in the Austrian Alps!

My volunteering experience at the Alpen Retreat was amazing. The hosts, Elly and Wolfgang, treats the volunteers as a part of the family. The location of the retreat is far from the busy city life, surrounded by mountains, forests and lakes which is ideal for those who want a break from a stressful life. The daily life with the volunteers is heart warming and quite fun. When I was leaving, I felt that I am leaving a part of me there.

This experience was incredible. I meet wonderful people and fellt In Love with the nature and energy that surround the house. The food was amazing and the worked wasn't complicated. Everything was very organized and well explained in the tasks were assigned to me. The hostes are beautiful people who I can't wait to see again. They are a wonderful family with the most extraordinary, lovely and funny kid in the world! I love you and can't wait to come back.

I loved to stay at the Center!! I'm so thankful for this expierence and I would recommend it to everyone, who wants to live in a caring, loving community with beautiful nature around. The work is never boring, the place is cozy and really clean, and in the middle of mountains, you can join Yoga-Classes if you are interested and the food is just AMAZING!!! Of course this all would be nothing without the sweet, lovely people you meet there- Elly and Wolfgang, the other volunteers or even the guests. I had a wonderful time at the Center and would have loved to stay longer. I will come back <3

It was so nice to be there even for a little while. Eli and Wolfgang are such amaxing hosts. Wolfgang is so full of energy and eli is so patient and caring. Just as an honest review, work is hard, there is a lot of information to get, so I think is best to go for at least a month to truly get the hang of it

El lugar es maravilloso, en plena naturaleza, con unos paisajes de cuento, ya solo por esto merece la pena la experiencia. el alojamiento es muy bonito y con mucho encanto, Ely y wolfgang son muy agradables. las tareas son. muy llevaderas y la comida muy rica. me dio mucha pena irme, la verdad es que se me pasó el tiempo muy rápido.

I'm very grateful for discovering this place. For my the Center it has meant a very positive change in my lifestyle that I will always carry in my heart. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the environment makes you think that you are submerged in a dream. I think the Center is a defense of free and wild life where you start to question work as indoctrination and the market as the only god. the Center talks about wild lagoons, wise men, Bhagavad Gita , the beauty of home fire , the absolute beauty of loneliness and the importance of friendship and well-being with oneself

I loved everything about Alpen Retreat! Everyone I met was extremely open and kind, I couldn't have asked for a better first Worldpackers experience. I learned a lot from the owners, Elly and Wolfgang, the volunteers, and the retreat guests and I would definitely go back if I got the chance!

The nature cannot be beat. Tons of hiking trails and a breathtaking view from the lake. I worked with wonderful volunteers and the hosts (Elly and Wolfgang) were not only great but also flexible, and their son is just the cutest. I am so glad I got to spend this time in Fernspass!

We had a fantastic time at the Alpen Retreat. The volunteers, guests, and owners were all awesome people and fun to be around. The work load is light and leaves plenty of time to do things in the day. Only complaint is that we didn't get all of the days off that we were promised, but besides that we loved our time here and I would absolutely recommend.
