Zayna Sardinia
We’re a family living on a piece of land with olive trees and a deep love for nature, animals, and cultural exchange. We recently moved here and are in the process of building up this place — and we can use all the help we can get :)
Volunteering with us is a great mix of working hard around the house and on the land to help us build a dream place, enjoying free time to explore this beautiful island, and sharing delicious dinners together.
You'll be staying in a caravan (see photos), which gives you your own private space. The caravan is suitable for one person or a couple/ best friends. We're currently in the process of building an outdoor toilet and shower. Until that's ready, you'll have access to a private guest bathroom. Please note that therefore at this point we can only host volunteers when the guesthouse is not booked.

My boyfriend and I had a 10-day experience at Zayna and it was super enriching! We were very warmly welcomed by the family, and from the very start we felt truly at home. The tasks are farm-related and require at least a bit of physical fitness — which was great, because we really wanted to move our bodies.
The cherry on top were the shared dinners with this beautiful family, where we enjoyed amazing food, had great conversations, and had so much fun with little Leela. The place is beautiful and surrounded by nature. We slept in a caravan, which was super cozy.

Majed and Irene are very good and open humans. I felt very welcome and had a good time. Leela is very sweet and active. Segu and Seba were always by my side when I worked.
The work was physically and hard, I liked it. It was just one week, so the cutted brunches had to get away. When I would stay longer, there would be more tasks.
The landscapes there were just beautiful and I was glad I had a bike! Thanks :)
The Camper was comfortable and beautiful, but at the nights its getting a bit cold.
But these are little things. I had a really good time and also very good food by Majed!

Irene y Majed son muy buenos anfitriones! !!
Siempre estuvieron atentos a lo que necesitáramos, las cenas de Majed fueron ricas y la energía de Irene es hermosa!
Te reciben con una sonrisa y mucha cordialidad.
Aprendimos de naturaleza, conectamos mucho con la tierra, ya que estas dos semanas mi esposo y yo podamos olivos e hicimos tareas de jardinería.
Sus perritos son hermosos y su hija adorable!

An amazing and inspiring experience in South Sardinia!
Irene and Majed are incredibly welcoming, kind and chill people. They always made sure I had everything I needed and I really loved staying with them, learning about their projects for their land and all things olive trees!
Work wise, I did some painting and manual work on the land - all of which I enjoyed doing! Majed’s cooking is also incredible, you will be impressed :)
A mention to Leela, who helped me learn a bit of Italian (she’s fluent!) and to Seba and Segu, always following me around the land while I was working ;)
