they will have their own cabin comes with shower kitchen toilet wi-fi can do their own cooking we supply food usually better cooks than us only work 4 hrs daily 5 days a week we also have a full shop where helpers have converted vehicles to campers wood and metal lots of sightseeing in area and we supply bicycles has been good place to find employment harder to find place to stay after they volunteer here some have stayed on weekends there is no smoking or drugs on property we do make our own wine
they are usually treated better than us as i have chores 7 days a week we have very friendly animals like to be played with esp at feeding time sorry no staff. lots of fresh rruit and eggs sorry we dont eat our animals

Nice experience overall, Wayne and dody and very kind people. The place is a small farm surrounded by mountains with scenic views, lots of animals around cats, chickens goats, ducks etc. The help is easy. It’s a nice place to relax and spend time in the countryside

Staying at Dodi and Wayne’s farm was a beautiful, enriching experience. I felt truly welcomed. The work was meaningful and well-balanced with time to connect and reflect, the tasks were well balanced, and there was always space to talk, learn, and share ideas. A highlight was meeting Andrea, another volunteer, we bonded deeply and shared the whole journey together. The peaceful environment, and inspiring hosts made it unforgettable. Well, it’s a farm… Don’t expect any luxury, go with opening mind and heart and you will enjoy! Grateful for everything we lived and learned together! ❤️

Even so, Wayne and Dodie are lovely, kind people, patient with our limited language skills. My experience at Wayne and Dodie's farm wasn't very good. The place where I slept had rats; one day, my partner and I found a lot of rat filth next to our bed. In the last two weeks, food was scarce for the three volunteers, and the water pressure dropped so low we could barely shower. I never had English classes. I had a lot of fun despite everything. I learned a lot of things about running a farm and a lot of tasks I'd never done before. Wayne taught me all of that.
