Welcome to Wahyi School, a friendly community school located in Central Lombok, an area known for its rich Sasak culture, stunning beaches, and peaceful village life.
Our mission is to provide quality education for local children and to create a space where culture and learning come together. We invite volunteers from around the world who are passionate about teaching, cultural exchange, and community development.
As a volunteer, you will help teach English and basic life skills to our students while sharing your culture and learning about Lombok’s traditional way of life. You’ll work alongside local teachers and community members who are eager to improve their language skills and connect with people from other countries.
During your stay, you’ll have the chance to explore beautiful destinations such as Kuta Mandalika Beach, Sade Traditional Village, Benang Kelambu Waterfall, and other hidden gems of Central Lombok. You can also join local cultural activities like Sasak dance, cooking, and traditional ceremonies.
We offer a warm home, delicious local food, and a supportive environment where you can learn, grow, and make a difference.

My name is Murdane I am 36 years old I live in Mujur with my wife and our four childrens (to boys and two girls). like most people in Mujur we follow the Muslim faith, However we embrace tolerance and mutual cooperation a principle known in Indonesia is Gotong Royong. I’m curious about different culture and would be more than happy to share our traditional especially theSasak culture. Lombok offer many incredible places or traveler such as stunning beaches, majestic contains and beautiful waterfalls I’d be delighted to show you round and every time.
