Had a good time, Wayne was very welcoming and I loved working with the dogs. Work was hard but when the heat got too much for me he let me finish early and was very reasonable. He did make me leave a day early because it was easier for him to drop me off early and I didn’t have much of a choice but wasn’t too much of an inconvenience

Thanks to Wayne for his welcoming. He was so kind and patient with us. The tasks were very simply and easy to carry out !
It was a wonderful stay. Basically, we had to stay only one week but we extend one more week because we enjoyed so much the host and his farm !
Moreover, thanks to Jenny and Anne for their kindness and our lovely nights conversations.
We’re gonna miss Zelda and Zeus, the two lovely dogs so much 🥹 Also, we’re gonna miss Wayne’s cooking !! (Best Australian cooker ever 👌)

It was a pleasure to host Marion and Emmie.Fantastic workers.Quick to learn.They weren't phased doing any work put in front of them.Clean,tidy,well mannered and respectful.

I had a really great time at the farm. Wayne was super welcoming, and the vibe was relaxed but meaningful. The work was fair with reasonable hours, and I learned some practical new skills along the way.

The food was honestly amazing and definitely a highlight of the stay!

I ended up staying longer than I planned because I was enjoying the experience so much. I would recommend it to everyone considering it!

I can really recommend this experience for others. Wayne is a nice and welcoming person. His cooking is 10/10.
There was a good work/life balance, where I sometimes helped more after my hours if he asked.
I got a nice room for myself.
So a really nice experience.

The Takara farm is absolutely stunning with lovely sunset and picturesque countryside land. The dogs were the cutest and very friendly, they would often hang around where I was working! Wayne is a GREAT cook, everything we ate was delicious and filling. Sometimes it can be a little hard to tell what is expected of you in the moment but asking for clarification usually helped.
