The Secret Garden Quito
We are one of the best backpackers' hostels in South America.
Established by an Ecuadorian-Australian couple and with the needs of travelers in mind, we have expanded to rooftop terrace and bar and an in-house tourist agency. Spread over 3 buildings and 5 floors, we offer everything a traveler needs. Here you can meet people from all over the World, improve your Spanish, learn new skills and get to know the locals and their customs. All that with the best view of the historic Old Town.
We have a strict rule that a volunteer can never replace a member of stuff! Your role and tasks will differ greatly from the job of our local and international staff members. We want you to come and bring fresh ideas and energy, socialize with the guests and enjoy your time here, so you can spread your positive energy and experiences with our guests.

Ser voluntario en Secret Garden es una experiencia enriquecedora, el equipo me incluyo desde el primer día, enseñándome las tareas las cuales me parecen muy justas para este voluntariado
Además, que genial tener tiempo libre para explorar la ciudad de Quito y alrededores
Me quede un total de 1 mes y medio en Secret Garden Quito
Y un mes en Secret Garden COTOPAXI , un lugar hermoso, como un paraíso, increíble, súper recomendada.

Ser voluntario aquí fue muy cool, la gente súper Shevere, todo el equipo te hace sentir súper bienvenido desde el primer día, Muy rica la comida y muy llevadera la dinámica semanal en cuanto al voluntariado y el tiempo libre que se tiene para explorar la ciudad.
Me quede en Secret Garden Quito 1 mes y medio y en Secret Garden Cotopaxi 1 mes.
Las dos experiencias súmante increíbles.

Tube una experiência muy chevere en Secret Garden, horarios y descansos bien respetados.
El lugar está muy bien ubicado: el equipo de staff muy buena onda,un ambiente agradable para pasar una buena temporada.

Staying at the Secret Garden in Quito was the absolute best experience I could have asked for. The place has a gorgeous view, the rooms are cozy, the food is amazing, and the people are the best - both the volunteers and the staff. I felt so welcomed by everyone, and I know I made so many friends. This place is also great for getting to know international travelers - the hostel is always full with people from all over the world.
The only thing, is that the job description here says bartending, but the position is mostly waitering - which, for me, wasn’t a problem at all. The hours are great!

Pasé una buena experiencia como voluntaria en The Secret Garden. Se recomienda una estancia mínima de 20 días, lo que facilita la organización del trabajo y permite dos días de descanso para explorar la ciudad o hacer excursiones. Recomiendo las que organiza la agencia del primer piso.
Te proporcionan una habitación compartida y espaciosa, además de dos comidas diarias. El personal es amable y, como extra, ofrecen clases de inglés y salsa.
Recomiendo venir a The Secret Garden, un lugar ideal para conocer gente de todo el mundo y compartir buenas conversaciones.
