Our house is big, sunny, airy, sometimes messy but high-spirited. Hopefully you will feel as part of our family.

We work in our small organic bakery and sell our products on street markets and fairs on the weekends.

ABOUT THE FOOD:
We only offer a simple breakfast, even on your days off. We cannot afford daily meals like lunch and dinner.

So here, meals are prepared collaboratively and shared as part of a family routine. In this case, we will go to the market together and split the expenses so we can eat together, like a big family. Without embarrassment and with great generosity.
We love cooking together and sharing meals, especially when a talented chef from another region shows up!

If we decide to eat out, you will have to pay your share of the food and drinks.

If you decide that there is any food of yours that you do not wish to share, please leave it in your dorm area, out of reach and sight of the children, as it is quite frustrating for us as parents to have to explain that sometimes there are volunteers who do not like to share their things.

You will sleep in a VW Kombi (Caravan) or in a Tent and use a shared toilet (that you must keep clean during the whole volunteering).

About us: My name is Ester, I'm a 44 years old mom and businesswoman . Together with my partner Maicon, 37, a great baker and a Jiu-jitsu student, we formed a nice family with two enlightened CHILDREN. We also have here the illustrious presence of two happy DOGS and one lazy CAT. We love to travel, eat, work, play, surf, chill at the beach, and enjoy nature. Not long ago we were traveling and volunteering in South America for almost two years, so we have a lot of stories to tell. If you do not speak Portuguese, I will notice you that I am the only one who speaks English and Spanish fluently in the house but the rest of the family can understand a bit of Spanish. The volunteer's work will generally be calm and relaxing but don't think that it can't get heavy and exhausting (like sanding wood, DEEP CLEANING THE BAKERY and doing the heavy lifting of a construction, for example). WE WILL TRY TO USE YOUR TALENTS IN COMPLIANCE WITH OUR "BOTH" DESIRES (yours AND ours), but you have to be willing to receive lots of types of tasks in accordance with the needs of the family for the moment. Daily family and house tasks, such as WASHING dishes, HELPING TO PREPARE SOME MEALS, CLEANING and ORGANIZING the kitchen after all, and being nice to the kids, are not part of the volunteering: they are HOUSE RULES! In the last day of your staying, the day you leave our house, you must clean the toilet you used and the place where you slept (INSIDE THE VW KOMBI) before leaving. Drugs and alcohol are not aloud during volunteering.
