Rocky River Play Station

It's a beautiful part of Australia, blending bush life with modern comforts. Here you'll find something a little different, away from the cities. Dark skies give you an incredible view of the stars. Enjoy wide open spaces, bush hills for a hike, and the Rocky River for a refreshing dip when the weather is hot. We've also got cuddly lawnmowing cows, beautiful but noisy peacocks, and a range of wildlife to spot including kangaroos and wallabies, parrots, goannas, dingoes....

We're generally not in any rush around here. We like to play, eat good food, live intentionally, and help others around us. I value good communication, cultural connections, and treating each other with respect. If you're here to help us in what we're doing, I hope we can also help you in some way too. I'm in my late 30s, have lived in Finland and Scotland, and worked with volunteers in many different capacities. I have two young sons, who also love to get involved in whatever project we're working on. My career background is with event management (for festivals, conferences etc), supporting non-fiction writers (eg phd students, researchers), and a long time ago I worked in Aboriginal archaeology.
