Rebel Family Homestead
Peacefull but never boring, chaotic but never stressed, lots off dogs and even more cats, vegan food, sun, pool, easy mornings, board games, olive trees, vegetable gardens, hiking, occasional beach days and trips to Malaga city...
We are a Belgian vegan family of 6 living in the montes de Malaga. Energetic Henri, adventures Jacques , theatrical Colette, funny Louis, my lovley wife and I (Niels) Building our home and farmstead step by step... My stay at the rebel family farm was a great experience! Working on the tasks was fun, meanigful, very chill and enjoyable. I've made new friends (not only humans) and had a great time with the family. We were playing Catan, Poker, Chess and Mastermind with the whole family, while eating self baked sweets :). I also learned a lot and had fun discussing topics and exchanging our views (mostly with Niels). They are very welcoming and if you are looking for a nice and fun off grid experience, this is a very good choice. Thank you so much for our time together!

My stay at the rebel family farm was the chillest time I had during my travels so far! They are very welcoming people and their love to all the animals that live at their house truly reflects their kindness! We had so much fun helping them at their house and working on the tasks. They provided everything that you need and so much more. All the game nights and the meaningful talks and laughs we had together mean so much to me, thank you so much for the amazing time at yours!

I had a great time with the Rebel family, they were very welcoming and I quickly felt at home. The cooking was super relaxed, and I got to experiment with lots of different recipes. I also had some truly eye-opening conversations that made me rethink many things and shift my perspective. It was fascinating to hear their views on the world, the opportunities they see, and their approach to life.
I loved all their dogs and cats as well, always ready for cuddles.
On top of that, the mountain location is wonderful, with stunning views that let you really enjoy nature far away from the city.

This was an outstanding place to stay at!
I was greeted with open hearts and felt accepted in to the family from the very first moment.
The workload was very flexible and the family made sure that it was always enjoyable tasks. The food was incredible, I was always excited for the meals and constantly asked if I enjoyed it and if I wanted more.
I'll also miss being followed on my walks by the entourage of cats and dogs, truly a spectacle.
The list goes on for this place and I would recommend this place to anyone I meet.
