I offer a condusive environment for volunteers to support my organisation as they get to learn more about our community. I live in the largest slum in Africa, this setting is already a lesson to our volunteers as they will meet life they have never been in before and this will bring huge impact in their lives and leave a lasting experience to them as well.

I will offer any necessary support within my reach. During their volunteering period I will ensure they get to learn so much from the community by taking them around.

Abdul is a true champion. The work he does in the community is incredible and has a huge impact on the lives of local children and girls. Furthermore, he is a great person, super friendly and great to be with. The only point of improvement, but which for me is quite relevant, is about what is expected from a volunteer to do. There is a lack of structure and routine of the daily tasks to be carried out by the volunteer. I believe that by implementing this, the next volunteers will be able to generate a greater impact

When I chose to apply for Kirta's Touch the Needy project, I didn't even imagine what I would find here. It has been the most beautiful experience of my life. Abdul is the man with the biggest heart I have ever met in my life. Always ready to take care of you, to think of your safety and well-being first. Every person who works in Kirta is a blessing from God. Abdul, Irene, Hawa, Lillo, Gaste each one of them has taught me a lot this month. The Kirta community welcomes you as if you were one of the family, I felt at home. I am infinitely grateful to them for this experience.

Ali, is like a big brother to those around him. He took excellent care of me and always prioritized my safety while I was volunteering.

The kids and people in the community were incredibly friendly, making the experience even more special. Abdul also made sure I was well-fed, which I really appreciated. I gained a deep understanding of the local living conditions and culture, which was truly enriching.

There were a variety of activities to get involved, keeping every day engaging and fulfilling. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a meaningful volunteering experience!
