You’ll be surrounded by nature 🌲, work closely with beautiful horses, and enjoy peaceful countryside moments. It’s a great way to disconnect, learn new skills ✨, and connect with people from different cultures 🌍. We also love to share stories and meals in the evenings 🍽️ – it’s not just work, it’s about sharing life.

We’re Kathi and Alex, both 43 years old and passionate about horses and simple, meaningful living 💚. We don’t have a big staff – it’s just the two of us, so your help is truly appreciated and makes a big difference 🙏. We treat our volunteers like family 👨‍👩‍👧, offering a warm, respectful, and friendly environment 😊. You’ll be part of our daily life, and we’re always happy to share knowledge, laughter 😄, and good food 🍲 with you.

This was our first time as worldpackers. The nicest start!! Kathi and Alex were always there for us and taking care of our necesities.
The job with the horses was really great and having Kathi teaching us made it really enjoyable. Also, the place was beautiful and perfect to submerge yourself into nature.
We felt really comfortable in the house and we also enjoyed sharing time with everyone in it.
We had a very good time there and we really enjoyed staying with you!!

This was our first experience as worldpackers and it couldn’t have been better!
Kathi and Alex were the nicest hosts 🫶 They cared about us and our necessities as if we were part of their family. We didn’t have much experience working with horses, nevertheless, Kathi taught us everything about how to do the job with so much patience!! Also, a special mention to her cooking! We shared so many delicious dinners together.
Being in contact with the nature and around all these animals was just amazing. Such a unique experience. Would definitely repeat!!

This was my first international volunteering and this one was marvellous full of new things and a safe space where you can learn a lot if you are not used to farming or being in contact with animals and nature al the time so. The house is very cozy and Kathi as well as Alex will make the best to make you feel very comfortable like part of their family so I encourage you to have this marvellous experience too!!

My time in Kathi's home was great. She has a truly special place with amazing animal friends and beautiful nature surrounding the farm. Kathi and Alex are both people with big hearts, very friendly, kind, caring and fun. Kathi was open to driving us to places like the chocolate factory during our time off which was appreciated a lot.❤️ The work is straightforward and you can always ask if something is unclear. I really enjoyed working while being surrounded by horses and nature. :) Thank you Kathi for an amazing experience. I hope to come back one day. 🥰🦄❤️✨

Kathi and Alex are wonderful people. We had a great time at their place. The dogs are lovely and the horses are magnificent.
Forest trails nearby to explore. Kathi also cooks delicious meals sometimes. She is very caring, kind, helpful and I love her humour.
We might come back as our experience was amazing.
