Instituto Xavier
We are a language school with young energy that believes respect and individuality play an important role in hosting. There's not much work in the school because we're a small language centre, which means the volunteers will have plenty of time to explore the nature surrounding the town. I myself love to travel with them.
👉 We prefer those who cook their own food. Refrigerator is always full.
Our team and students are really excited when it comes to having tourists around. We love to keep company, eat out at night, cook together.

El voluntariado en Jaciara como profesores de español e inglés, estuvo muy bien. La experiencia en las clases fue muy buena y el ambiente del proyecto siempre fue muy positivo.
Pero, sin duda, lo que más disfruté fue cómo Xavier nos hizo conectar con la naturaleza. Nos llevó a ver sitios realmente increíbles: cascadas, Tesouro y otros lugares que jamás habríamos descubierto por nuestra cuenta. Gracias a él, la experiencia fue muchísimo más especial. ¡Muy recomendable!

Muy buena experiencia, sobre todo si te gusta la naturaleza y la tranquilidad. Jaciara es una ciudad tranquila pero hay muchas cosas a hacer y visitar a su alrededor. Igor nos acogió muy bien y nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitábamos. Los fines de semana nos llevaba a explorar los alrededores, a hacer excursiones y ver cascadas. No son muchas horas de trabajo, lo que te permite tener bastante tiempo libre. Gracias por todo Igor!

I spent three weeks in Jaciara. Xavier is an incredibly welcoming person who enjoys having people from all around the world. He created a good atmosphere where we will often cook together and go on weekend getaways.
The workload is very light, which is great if you’re looking for quiet volunteering. i personally would have liked having a few more classes. Jaciara is it nice and peaceful city but there isn’t much to do.
Although Xavier took us to the local waterfalls, and we went away on the weekends, me and the other volunteers found ourselves with not much to do during the week.

Thank you for your honesty, but I believe that the volunteer experience at the school and your personal experience with the locals and the town were two separate things -- I'm still learning how it works in here. And everything regarding the school present situation was communicated prior to your arrival, in terms of the few hours of work a week. But, I love you. You are a gret person and I hope you have a wonderful life! 😊🌹

Carla and I had a great time with Xavier. He showed us some smaller towns which we never would have visited on our own. Felt very comfortable in the space and would recommend it to anyone!
