Hush Hostel is located right in the heart of Kadıköy, one of Istanbul’s most vibrant and artistic districts. You’ll be close to all the must-see spots, with easy access to ferries, metros, and endless cafes, bars, and live music venues.

We’ve got a nice mix of guests from all over the world, and a chill but responsible atmosphere. Our volunteer team is small and friendly — usually helping with housekeeping, café shifts, and sometimes supporting events or creative projects.

You won’t just be working — you’ll be part of the hostel family, sharing meals, stories, and good energy. If you’re reliable, social, and open to new experiences, this is a great place to feel at home while discovering the real Istanbul.

About us & how we treat our volunteers At Hush Hostel, we try to keep things simple: good vibes, open minds, and mutual respect. We're a small team who genuinely care about creating a warm and inspiring space for both guests and volunteers. Our common areas are where people come together — whether it’s sharing a meal in the guest kitchen, jamming with instruments in the lounge, or just relaxing in the garden with a cup of tea. We’ve got yoga sessions, a sunny terrace with city views, and plenty of space to chill or connect. As a volunteer, you’ll be treated like part of the team — not just a worker. We value your time, your input, and your well-being. We believe in clear communication, fair shifts, and making sure you enjoy your experience just as much as our guests do. We're a mix of locals and travelers ourselves, and we love learning from everyone who walks through the door.
