Hostel Mondpalast Dresden
Dresden is a medium sized town in Germany with great surroundings. The town itself is definitely worth the visit and to stay here longer, to get to know us Dresdener.
The hostel is located right in Dresdens trendy district. We have our own bar in the house, which is popular with young locals.
The hostel is run by Michael and the receptionists are people from Dresden. We are looking for someone, who wants to be part of our team for a while.

Very welcoming and fun experience. The work isn’t that hard, but the laundry like Mel discusses is a bit of a pain carrying up those stairs. Other than that this was a wonderful experience. If they had critiques or feedback they’ll tell you right away. Also helping with the bla bla language is probably the best part of the job.

Volunteering at Mondpalast was one of the most amazing experiences of my trip. The hostel is wonderful, full of good vibes, and the team is incredibly welcoming. Melina and all the other staff made me feel at home from day one, and I’m truly grateful for all the kindness, learning, and laughter we shared. The karaoke nights and the language exchange made the experience even more special, creating unforgettable moments with people from all over the world. If you ever have the chance to visit Dresden, don’t think twice – choose Mondpalast. It’s the perfect place to stay!

Mondpalast is a super cozy hostel. Your main tasks will be cleaning the kitchen, helping put the sheets away in the storage room, and going to the supermarket. On Thursdays you also get to host a quiz, which is really fun. The work is light and very flexible—you don’t have to do it at any specific time, and I never had any issues when I asked for days off. All the staff are really nice and they make you feel comfortable at all times.

Hostel Montpalast was my first volunteering experience, and it truly exceeded my expectations.
I was a bit nervous at the beginning, but Melina explained everything with patience and kindness, which made all so easy.
The staff Karina, Fabi, Jorge, Melina, Michael, Calida, Andrea, Kevin, Steffi, Dani, and Jussi, was always friendly and made my stay truly special.
The tasks were simple, the always respected the schedule, I enjoyed working as a CM, and I met wonderful people from all over the world.
I’m very grateful and i would come back a thousand times, I loved it!

I loved volunteering at Mondpalast! I got to know the incredible staff there and met tons of locals. The included breakfast was a huge plus on a backpacker budget, and the facilities at the hostel are excellent and very comfortable. Meli is an amazing manager and friend! I hope to go back again in the future, it truly is a special place.
