Great place to learn more spanish and how to cook typical Guatemalan food. Comfortable double sized beds, good internet, all meals/groceries included, and discounts on shuttles and activities!

My name is Alex, and my fiance and I moved to Guatemala with our 2 year old son to start a new chapter. We had traveled quite a bit before falling absolutely in love with Antigua. Our full time staff including cleaners, cooks, and other receptionists are all local Guatemalans. Some speak english, some don't - but they are all amazing!

I had an amazing time at Hostal de la Fuente! The manager, staff, and fellow volunteers made this experience feel so special and truly unforgettable!
The city itself is beautiful, with so much to explore, and on your days off, you can take trips to nearby spots like El Pardon, Lake Atitlan, or the Acatenango hike! The work is simple and fun, and it's a great way to meet other travellers – especially during breakfast/dinner service and their nightly events.
This place feels more like a home than a hostel, with its cozy, welcoming vibe. I couldn’t recommend this gem enough ✨

I really enjoyed my time here at Hostal de la Fuente! The tasks were easy to manage and you can always ask for help if you have problems. My working hours were always respected, most of the times the 5 hours went by pretty fast. If there was not much to do I just read a book to pass time. I felt very comfortable here, I loved the social family atmosphere of the hostel!

Hostal de la Fuente es un lugar increíble!!! te hacen sentir como en casa <3 El hostal es muy lindo y con eventos diarios que te permiten socializar con los huéspedes y a la vez conectar con ellos.
La comida es muy rica, Carla e Ingrid son excelentes personas y cocinan muy rico😍 los desayunos son increíbles
El trabajo es fácil y siempre respetan tu tiempo, lo que te permite conocer Antigua y Guatemala en general.
Sin duda es un lugar al que volvería, aprendí mucho y crecí como persona 💕🫶🏽

En el Hostal se desarrollan varias actividades, ya que siempre hay casa llena! todo el tiempo estás conociendo a personas que les encanta ir y conocer la naturaleza de La Antigua. Las tareas llegan a ser sencillas hasta un poco complejas (necesitas estar atento) te enseña a ser muy servicial el Hostal, ya que la mayoría de las personas (el personal) lo es. El horario es muy flexible para poder conocer los sitios al rededor de la antigua, puedes pedir cambios de horarios el manager es flexible! muy bonita la antigua y la naturaleza muy infravalorada! <3 me voy contenta

Súper súper recomendado hacer voluntariado en Hostal de La fuente, las tareas son sencillas, se respetan los tiempos, la comida es deliciosa, buenas instalaciones, ha sido un mes increíble en este lugar! Gracias Pablo y a todo el equipo por hacerme parte de un lugar tan maravilloso
