Hostal Colibri Minca

Colibri ea un gran lugar para contemplar Minca y la sierra nevada, estoy muy orgulloso del trabajo realizado y mientras se realize un buen trabajo puedes estar bien. Se respeta el horario de trabajo y está muy cerca del centro. Gracias!

Dortoir insalubre (de la moisissure jusque dans les lits), hôte irrespectueux et impatient envers nous et ses employés, mauvais traitement des chiens… Je ne recommande pas l’hostel Colibri, une expérience de volontariat écourtée et décevante.

Our volunteer work at Hostel Colibri did not go as planned; we left after one week instead of the two we had planned.
There were several reasons for this: the dormitory was unsanitary (mold on and in the beds and pillows), the host was rarely around and had no pedagogy, and the treatment of the hostel's employees and animals was questionable.
For our first volunteer experience, it was a bad one.

I had a very good experience at the Colibri Hostel. The location is perfect, a 5min walk from the village on the heights of Minca.
I did very different jobs every day so I didn't get bored at all: painting, making swings, a bit of pool maintenance, animal care, and cutting vegetation.
The owner, Romaric, a French, was very friendly and flexible. It felt like I was with a friend and doing projects together.
The dormitory where you sleep is the same as the Guests' and it's nice, with a small private kitchen for the dorm.
I recommend volunteering at Casa Colibri.
