It was a good place to be, the room is well equipped with a fridge and 'private' bathroom and toilet. The tasks are simple, so there is time to meet guests and staff members. The location of the hostel is very good, It is very easy to move from Ostkreuz to anywhere. Maybe it was that winter was almost beginning but I felt that the place lacked a little vibe. Then breakfast and dinner are complete, nothing to say about it. I met very good colleagues in my passage there :)

Volunteering at A&O not only allowed me to become familiar with the Berlin lifestyle but it also helped me grow as an individual. Liubov, the hostel manager was flexible, kind and extremely caring- making me feel safe and well taken care of. A&O Friedrichshain will forever hold a special place in my heart and I’d happily recommend the experience to anyone. Thank you :)

Overall my experience in A&O Friedrichshain was excellent. The tasks are fair, and Liubov is the best manager one could ask for. There's breakfast included everyday and dinner most of the days, so that's a big plus. The volunteer team is also excellent, and you end up doing a lot of friends during your stay there. I recommend 100%!!!
