my place is surrounded by the mountain ,we have so many different hiking trails from 2 hrs until 3 days hiking in the nature.

I am Mahmood, your host, born and raised in Al Hamra (Oman). In January 2022 I opened 228 Hostel, because I love to meet people from other countries and to learn and talk about other countries. As a host I love to make you feel at home and give the best service, so you will have a good time at Hostel and make the best holiday memories. I live in the hostel as well, you can ask me all kind of things about Oman, about activities to do around Al Hamra, your next plans, culture, traditions, food, Muslim religion or anything you are interested in. It was an amazing experience, it's a calm place and very beautiful , Oman vibes everywhere, you will enjoy nature, Sunrise and sunset with the mountains are amazing, the tasks are very simple, Mahmoud is a nice guy, I really happy to be there, it was like my home thanks Mahmoud.

-i enjoy the Egypt food that you coked ( Koshari ),and the other types, you are very professional .

-you make the place very clean and you revive the guests in very kind and welcoming.

- we Enjoy the hike in the mountain with the German tourist.

Although it was a bit of a slower pace of life than I expected, I loved my stay here at 228 hostel! Mahmood is very welcoming to everyone that comes to his hostel and I enjoyed getting to go on hikes and learn more about Omani culture!
