I am trying to learn the basics of permaculture and sustainable living because I hope in the future to live a zero waste lifestyle. I was familiar with some concepts such as composting and organic farming because I am currently living in a housing project with a large community garden. The parts about raising animals, the biofertiliser machine and the egg incubator were really interesting and gave me hope that I can volunteer on an eco-project like this one and learn all kinds of zero waste techniques - because for me the best way to learn is to just do it!
