This was one of my greatest experience! Ram, the host is super friendly, helpful, and does his best to make us feel at home. He cooks good food for us, and definitely knows how to receive people. I loved my fellows, the sweetest dogs in the world, Pika, Lucile and Pastel. The always made my day. We get a comfortable room and bathroom for us, the tasks are easy and not difficult at all. The place is very quiet, though. So if you prefer parties and hectic places, don't go because this experience won't fit your lifestyle. I super recommend!!!

I definitely do not recommend being a volunteer in this hostel. The problem is how they deal with this kind of experience as hosts. If you are assigned to do cleaning, you will work hard. They do not have employees in this area, and the volunteers have to work as regular employees. There was a heavy environment around because most volunteers from cleaning weren't happy at all. If you need the whole review, write to me. There are some good people there, of course. But there are many more places you can have a much better experience.

The hostel was one of my best experiences volunteering. The volunteers and staff there are amazing people. We feel like a family!!! They are all lovely. Besides that, the volunteers stay in a very comfortable house, and everything is right in front of the beach. Pepe, the owner provides us an incredible breakfast, assistance while training and working. He also provides free tour to the natural coral reefs pool, kayaking, other water equipments, and bikes to go around the city. Maragogi is a small city and the hostel is located a few minutes walking or riding a bike from downtown. A must-go! 😊
