The hostel is okeey and the village is beautiful but ask first if there are more volunteers in the same time that you, because if not I wouldn't recomend. In japan is difficult to find a volunteering without working visa, then for 1 or 2 weeks this place is okeey, you have onsens (hot springs) and the food is included.

Sorry it might too much people, you might enjoyed the team which is ok, thouhg, seems like it was not woking well. Normally works well with even with many people because orginzer type tends to work well, but find out it depends on. Some helper stay by himself and extended stay two monthes.
