The information given ist really helpful for travellers in general, but of course, especially for those who travel alone, above all the information about safety and the importance of putting safety first over budget, it's not worthy to risk your physical integrity and time just to save money by walking long distances intead of taking a convenient transportation, or moving from hostal to hostal just because you find a cheaper option.
