It really helped shape my mindset. One of the most important things I learned is to stay open and flexible—things don’t always go as planned, and that’s totally okay. I understood how important it is to respect the local culture, to observe and listen before jumping in, and to always approach new situations with curiosity rather than judgment.
I also learned that what really matters isn’t doing everything perfectly, but showing up with a positive attitude, being willing to help, and communicating openly with the people around me.
