Except hearing that no experience is required, I did not hear anything new. I do think hostels will hold in account whether you have experience or not.

He also kept repeating to keep a smile on your face all the time. I understand why he values this, but to me it’s also good to hear that there is space to be real and not pretend to be a puppet.

Still very excited to experience hostel volunteering for the first time though!

I thought this was great. You can really learn what you can expect from your experience, but also what your host can expect from you. Also, I think this course explains how your first day can be like in a very good way. You can really imagine yourself there!
