I feel this course helped me understand what to look for when researching hosts and planning a trip as well as the different types of hosts and considering what kind of work I would be putting in. It opened my eyes to how much of a difference we can make just being in nature and working with it. I heard "working with nature and not against it" and that resonated with me.
