Europe is a vast continent, so you’ll have plenty of options to volunteer in Europe. In West Europe you can go to France, ride a bike in Holland or eat some classic Belgium fries. Or maybe you would like to have a beer in Germany, teach english in Poland, go see castles and amazing forests in Czech Republic and Hungary, enjoy the fine arts in Austria, or explore less visited countries like Slovenia. Europe is just as full of volunteer opportunities as it is worldwide famous museums and monuments. Pick your favourite!
First, you’ll need a visa to volunteer in Europe with Worldpackers. Depending on your nationality, the period you’re allowed to stay will be different. So you have to check that before going, ok? Second, remember: minimum age to apply is 18. Also, keep in mind that volunteering is about cultural exchanges. In other words, you’re going to another country to learn and collaborate with the locals. It’s help, not labor. Always count on our support team to help in case you need it. And of course, enjoy every single day of your trip! :)
You can volunteer in exchange for free accommodation in Europe in a hostel, farm, animal shelter, NGO or other type of host. Start by filling out your profile at the Worldpackers website or app, and get ready to live your next awesome adventure! Add your skills and preferences in your profile, together with travel photos and a bit about yourself. You can check opportunities on our host list and apply to all opportunities by becoming a member of the Worldpackers community!
