It's an amazing experience if you want to know people all over the world and learn how to share space with respect and live in your indipendence. Having a place to stay while you travel is a big opportunity and when you find people Who treat you as a member of the family is amazing .

Mi experiencia en The passanger hostel fue increíble, me senti como en casa desde que llegue, Tomas y el resto del staff son personas hermosas con buena energía, dispuestas a ayudar y crear el mejor ambiente para todos. Las actividades son super divertidas y no se siente como trabajo, me llevo recuerdos increíbles, sin duda la mejor experiencia de voluntariado que tuve y super recomendada para practicar ingles, crear conexiónes y conocer la hermosa ciudad de Porto.

The hostel was my first volounteering experience and I couldn't have wished for a better one. The manager Tomas and the other staff members are nice, welcoming and fun people, if you're open to new experiences and people you will really feel part of a group there. The work Is mostly really light social shifts that are fun and don't really feel like work. The hours are fair, often less than 25 per week, specific days off can be arranged easily. the hostel Is big, with beautiful and unique common areas where you can have quiet time if you need it. Go there for an authentic stay in Porto❤

I had an amazing experience volunteering at the hostel. From day one, the other volunteers, receptionists, and Tomas made me feel comfortable and welcome. Every week, a new schedule was sent with varied shifts that ranged from leading sunset walks, helping with breakfast/family dinner, hosting karaoke, participating in bar tours, and more! Because there was so much variety in the "work" assigned, there was always something fun going on! Tomas is also respectful of your time and will be flexible if you need to request a specific day off. I would highly recommend this experience!

I stayed for 5 weeks and I really loved it! It was the perfect place for my first volunteering experience. We were a really great group of volunteers and it immediately felt like home. In this place you're never going to have a boring time. There is always something to do, like doing daytrips with the other volunteers or joining the hostels activities.The working hours were always fair and enjoyable.

The month that I spent at the hostel was one of the best months of my life. I had an amazing time getting to know the other volunteers and all the guests that passed through. The facilities are great; This is a really, really nice hostel. Tomás was a great manager and the activities I was scheduled for were enjoyable and never too much of a time commitment. Just be ready to socialize! I would recommend this to anyone with a high social battery looking to spend a prolonged period in beautiful Porto :)

This was my third time volunteering at a hostel - and I can honestly say that this experience has been nothing but amazing. the hostel is incredible with all the staff, the location and the environment. the hostel is super spacious and clean, and everyday different activities that allowed all the guest and staff to get together. Our schedule was always super chill and fair, and it never felt like working - more like socialising and having fun all together. I leave this experience fulfilled with so much happiness and memories, I can't recommend this enough. Can't wait to be back<3

Staying in the hostel has been one of the most incredible experience in my life. About the shifts: they are easy and so fun and you still have plenty of time to explore the city. Porto is the most incredible city ever ! If you are the type of person that loves to party, meet people around the world it's the perfect place for you. Tomas, the staff , housekeeping , and all the others volunteers make you feel like home and became family for life, they are AMAZING! I will always the thankful for these experience. Can't wait to come back ! 🤍

Mi experiencia en el hostel ha sido sumamente especial y acogedora. Cada persona que me ha traído este hostel me la llevo en el alma, desde los otros voluntarios, el staff, las housekeepers, los guests y a Tomás. Todos siempre dispuestos a ayudar, conectar y seguir consolidando la familia que en este espacio se va encontrando. Los horarios son completamente respetados y las actividades son muy entretenidas, ni siquiera se sienten como trabajo. Vivir en este hostel me ha hecho crecer individual y socialmente, lo recomiendo sin duda. Su único problema es dejar muy altas las expectativas :D
