The hostel was my first volunteering experience and I'm truly spoiled now. Not only was the work we had to do truly easy and fair, I also had the chance to meet some really amazing volunteers. These connections with my other peers truly made this experience worth it. Besides the other volunteers and the AMAZING HOSTEL I also have a sweet spot for the staff. Pedro, Rita and Vanessa truly are amazing and made me spend a lot of my time at reception ;) thanks guys ❤️ All in all I'd 100% recommend this experience to any other future volunteer. Thanks Passengers I'll be back 🤭

The hostel was my first volunteering experience, and I doubt anything can top this one! The tasks were manageable and enjoyable, especially when doing the shift with other volunteers. The facilities here are amazing, the location is so convenient, and Tomas is so accommodating to requests we might have. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to be in this space, it has made me become more open, and grow in ways I didn't know I should. I'm sure the friends I've made here will be friends for life, although everyone is scattered everywhere across the globe. <3

This might be my favorite volunteering experience ever :)) Volunteering at the hostel was truly amazing! the hostel is well located and full of life. We were in charge of organizing social activities and preparing breakfast, which was really fun. The volunteers and staff were all so welcoming, and it created a beautiful family vibe. Also, Tomas was super understanding, and everything we agreed on was respected. I really appreciated that. I'd absolutely recommend this place!!!!! 💙

The hostel is like a home to me. I met the most amazing people (shoutout to you guys if you see this, i love you), i made connections with people that i would never meet naturally, i now have friends in many countries. The experience altogether is 10/10, the best volunteering experience you could get. The work is reasonable, and you always have a good time doing the work. The cleaning staff, reception, and Tomás are all super friendly and nice, love them all. I got to know the culture, the city, the locals, and a lot more. I will return if possible, i cannot recommend it enough. <3

I'm very thankful for the opportunity of volunteering at the hostel! the hostel has really nice common areas and a good social atmosphere. There are several activities per day usually organised which makes it super easy to get in touch with guests. The work shifts are very fair. When I was there in September/October most shifts were either going to see the sunset with guests (my favorite shift hehe), preparing breakfast or pasta night or going out with the guests to local bars. Everything is very easy, especially with the welcoming and warm team of other volunteers and staff!!

The hostel was a great first volunteer experience. The staff and other volunteers were very welcoming and made the people around them feel comfortable. The shifts were fun to do and easy to learn. I loved the energy and community feel of this hostel and would definitely recommend :)

This was a great experience to start volunteering! I was a bit afraid of what to expect but the hostel has an amazing social and welcoming atmosphere, wonderful staff and people!! good location and enjoyable tasks. Porto is lovely, glad I could be part of it for a bit, obrigada :)

What started as an adventure and “time filler” for my travels, unexpectedly and quickly became a home away from home. The environment, the energy, the views of Porto, the people (Tomás, and my absolute favorite people at reception who made me smile every day) made it truly so special. I'm so grateful for the community, the memories, and the experience. Porto isn't just a place, it's a feeling which you will soon understand if you choose this opportunity. Couldn't have asked for a better first volunteering experience!

This is the 6th work and travel volunteering I've done and every single one is different and special in its own way. I just spent about two months at the hostel and I had the best time! I think it definitely depends on your fellow volunteers but even without that, the staff, the work, the location, the city itself is amazing. If you are a person who loves to connect with people and likes going out (gonna be a big part of your time there ;) ) then I can genuinely only recommend this place. Thank you so much for having me and giving me the chance to meet so many incredible people <3
