La pase muy bien en el hostel, conoci un monton de nuevos amigos el hostel es comodo y esta muy bien ubicado, el trabajo es bastante puntual y sencillo, recomiendo al 100% este voluntariado.

Ha sido mi primera experiencia de voluntariado y no creo que pudiese haber sido mejor. El hostel es perfecto, la responsable Ellom es un amor y Máximo siempre está atento a cualquier cosa que puedas necesitar. Sin duda una experiencia buenísima y para repetir 🖤

I loved my time at the hostel! Had a great time being able to explore Italy and practice my Italian whilst helping out with the hostel. Would recommend volunteering at this hostel if you want to meet travellers from around the world and experience palermo over an extended period.

Es mi primera experiencia haciendo voluntariado y lo súper recomiendo! Mis compañeros y Massimo han hecho del hostel, un verdadero hogar. Las tareas, si bien requieren de responsabilidad, son sencillas y dejan energías para recorrer los tantos lugares que tiene Palermo para visitar, que a pesar de ser una ciudad caótica, merece la pena visitar. Simplemente gracias!!

Este voluntariado fue una de las mejores experiencias de toda mi vida❤️ Palermo es una ciudad hermosa, la gente es sociable, la comida deliciosa y si te gusta salir de fiesta estás en el lugar correcto. El hostal tiene una excelente ubicación y eso es muy bueno. En realidad las tareas no son difíciles y los managers son muy cool. Volveré a the hostel❤️

I had such a nice time at the hostel in Palermo! The volunteer team was amazing, I have new friends now. The manager Ellom was really kind with me, and Massimo was always there to support everybody. The shifts were easy and I had plenty of time to go out and enjoy myself. I wish I came back soon! I love the city, the people and the environment during days and nights. A GREAT experience!

The hostel is right in the center, it is clean, Massimo and hellom are very kind and friendly, the tasks are not difficult, the atmosphere of the place is one of the best where I have been, about the food they bought the ingredients and you should cook, personally I liked it and I should applied for a longer time

I had a great time at the hostel! The manager, Ellom, does a great job and makes sure everyone feels at home. With the work, you sometimes have to figure out things by yourself, but you can always ask and somebody will help you:) working hours are being respected and there's a lot of flexibility with the schedules. The only thing that wasn't optimal is that the owner wasn't there during my stay and communication over WhatsApp was not the easiest. Other than that, I met wonderful people at the hostel and enjoyed Palermo as well!

I had a really enjoyable experience at the hostel. I stayed in February, so the hostel wasn't very busy and there wasn't as much work to do. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The hostel is now comfortable and clean. The manager is accommodating, and the other volunteers I met, we were about six in all, were very nice. This is an excellent way to discover Palermo and North-west Scilly.

All in all our time at the hostel was a nice experience. The tasks were easy and fun and the hours were respected, which meant that we had a lot of free time to explore Sicily. The staff was so friendly, we loved working with them. Even though the hostel isn't the most modern building, it's pretty clean (bathroom facilities and such). The only thing that kind of ruined this experience was that the hostel has a big bedbug-problem, in the staff room as well and that was pretty exhausting mentally and physically. Measures were taken, but they were not very successful.

thanks to stay and be part of Balarm hostel team, unfortunately the disinfections from this insects need medium-long time treatment, in November seems we solved the problem.
