It was a great time to spend in the hostel. The location in the city center is wonderful, and there are a lot of nice towns nearby to visit. I met some wonderful volunteers and the management was also nice. Thylanka and Hassan were always smiley and helpful and if I had some question, Max was open to answer every time. However in the staff room there were only a few wall socket and I needed to charge my powerbank in the common spaces, and finally I lost it :( I think it would have been important to buy some extension cord. Anyway I recommend the hostel to everyone.

My experience at the hostel was great. The atmosphere with both the guests and the volunteers is good. I met wonderful people who made a difference during my stay at the hostel. The work is easy and the working hours are respected. There is plenty of time to explore the island. Thilanka and Hashan are very nice and helpful with everything you need.

I had an amazing month at the hostel. The light workload allowed me to explore Palermo and Sicily, meet people from all over, connect with locals, and build friendships. Whenever something didn't go as planned, there was someone around to help so I never felt alone. This experience gave me everything I hoped for in my first Worldpackers trip and helped me improve my problem-solving skills in a multicultural environment. What made it even better were the amazing volunteers I grew close to and the welcoming the hostel staff who made the hostel feel like home :)

I had an amazing time staying at the hostel and exploring the Palermo city itself. This was my first volunteering experience, so I feel truly greatful that it turned out to be this one. The housecleaning tasks are relatively easy and the working hours are respected, which left me with a lot of time for exploring and being in the city. The staff here are wonderful, extra thank you to Thailanka for making me and all the volunteers feel truly welcomed!

The experience was good. The managers are kind and the host was flexible with everything I needed. The staff room has four bunk beds for four people and air conditioning. They provide €20/week for food and hostel breakfast (you can buy the basic with that amount). Reception tasks are easier; cleaning (bathrooms, showers, kitchen, bins, common areas) is more tiring, but you get a small extra payment and can leave once you finish, so it depends on your speed. The hostel is very central, close to historical sites and nightlife, but beach is from 30/40 minutes away by bus.

I loved the experience! Working hours are respected and the tasks are easy. Massimo was very flexible with me regarding the schedule, which allowed me to attend my Italian classes and take a trip to a place that wasn't very close. Thilanka and Hashan were always kind and respectful! The facilities are comfortable. The internet always worked perfectly.

My experience at the hostel was great! I was lucky enough to get along very well with the other volunteers. I was able to improve my English and tour Palermo and even Sicily in one month. The staff is lovely, the hours are flexible, and the work at the bar and reception isn't complicated at all. I had this experience in winter, but I think it's even better in summer! I highly recommend it!

The highlights of this hostel were definitely the managers, Thilanka and Hasham, who were very helpful and supportive. Palermo itself is an amazing city with beautiful nearby beaches and amazing atmosphere. There were a few areas that could be improved. Our dorm room did not have a lock, which made us feel unsafe at times, and there were recurring bed bug issues that could have been handled better. Although the listing mentioned three meals a day, we only received breakfast and 20 euros per week to cover other meals, which is not enough. Overall the experience was good but hostel need changes
