This program is designed for passionate storytellers, content creators, and digital communicators who want to use their skills for good — while living simply, locally, and meaningfully.

As a volunteer, you'll stay in a traditional coastal village in Sekotong, Lombok, where you’ll work closely with conservation teams and local communities. Your role is to document real-life coral reef restoration, community action, and marine biodiversity through engaging social media content.

This is a hands-on, ground-level experience. You’ll capture photos, create reels, design infographics, and help manage platforms like Instagram — turning fieldwork into powerful online storytelling. Your creativity will directly support awareness, funding, and volunteer recruitment for coral reef conservation in one of Indonesia’s richest marine ecosystems.

With a $35/day local house and meals included, this program is ideal for those who value purpose, cultural immersion, and impact over comfort and luxury.

Atividades & Turnos

Volunteers typically work 4–5 hours per day, 5–6 days per week. Schedules are flexible but based on field conditions and team needs.

📅 Daily Activities:
📸 Content Creation: Capture photos and videos of reef restoration, beach cleanups, marine life, and community activities.
✍️ Caption & Post Writing: Write engaging, educational captions for social media posts.
📱 Scheduling & Posting: Assist in planning, scheduling, and posting content on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or YouTube.
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Interviews: Document stories of local team members, volunteers, and community leaders.
🧠 Strategy Sessions: Join weekly content planning meetings with coordinators.
🎨 Design: Create infographics, reels, or short videos for campaigns (optional if you have design skills).
🌱 Support in Field: Occasionally assist in coral planting, clean-ups, or educational events for local youth to get real context for your content.

Respect Local Culture: Dress modestly in the village, be polite, and learn local customs.
No Alcohol or Drugs: Strictly prohibited during your stay.
Consent for Media: Always ask permission before photographing individuals, especially locals and children.
Environmental Respect: No touching corals or marine life; follow reef-safe guidelines at all times.
Contribute Actively: Be proactive, responsible, and committed to your content deadlines.
Collaborate with the Team: Communicate openly with staff and fellow volunteers.
Keep Common Areas Clean: Respect the shared accommodation space.
