Détails du programme
This program is designed for passionate scuba divers who want to use their skills for a greater purpose — contributing to ocean protection while living simply, locally, and meaningfully.
As a volunteer, you’ll be based in a traditional coastal village in Sekotong, Lombok, where daily life moves at a slower pace and close ties with the sea shape the community. Here, you’ll work hand-in-hand with local conservation teams and residents, gaining both practical experience and cultural understanding.
Your role will include:
Coral reef restoration – assisting with underwater coral planting, maintenance, and monitoring.
Community action – joining beach clean-ups, marine education campaigns, and youth outreach.
Marine biodiversity protection – learning about local species, helping with surveys, and supporting efforts to safeguard ecosystems that sustain village livelihoods.
Accommodation is provided in a local guesthouse or homestay, with three daily meals included. At $45/day, this program prioritizes purpose, cultural immersion, and real impact over luxury. By living close to local families, eating traditional food, and contributing to conservation, you’ll not only strengthen the reefs but also the resilience of the people who depend on them.
This is more than just a diving experience — it’s a chance to become part of a movement that connects ocean health, community well-being, and meaningful travel.
