Demo and Tono are the most incredible hosts! Never did I think while backpacking I would be hosted by such kind, generous and lovely people. Simeon is an amazing kid - he is smart and curious and has endless amounts of energy. Demo and Tono made sure we were able to experience everything Southern Bulgaria has to offer and we loved every minute of it. One thing for sure is that we will definitely be back in the future!

This experience was truly one of a kind. Demo and Tono are the most generous and giving people who make sure you are looked after and comfortable at all times. They are genuinely excited for you to explore their country and provide everything you would need to make this happen. Simeon is truly unique and an intelligent kid filled with curiosity. Staying with Tono, Demo and Simeon was a special and enriching experience. Simeon is a very energetic kid, motivated to learn a lot. We made so much interesting things that at the end of the day I also learned new things. Nearby the beautiful moments with Simeon, demo and Tono gave me a lot of opportunities to see the area in which they live. Schedule and housing changes are happening from time to time and required flexibility so if you love spontaneity is this place perfect for you! Tono, Demo and Simeon you have a special place in my heart.

Arriving here was a reminder that dreams really do come true. Meeting Tono and Demo was also seeing how passion for what you do can take you anywhere. Simi is the protagonist of this story; his immense intelligence leads you to discover and explore the world in an amazing way. Accompanying him in his classes and in his daily life was a gift during this travel break. Thank you for the immense solidarity, making us feel at home in this part of the world. My experience with Demo, Teodora and their lovely son Simeon was very positive. They offered many opportunities for volunteers to have exceptional compensation for the work and to see many different cultures in the surrounding areas. Their son Simeon is curious, intelligent, and a ball of energy. Once well acquainted and trust is built, he is so lovely to be around and offer mentorship to, and you learn a lot from his authentic childlike sense of wonder! Demo and Teodora are spiritual, passionate & kind people and I'm glad to have crossed paths with & shared this experience with them!

From the first quiet breath of dawn in the Bulgarian mountains to the spark of wonder that illuminated the eyes of my five years old companion, this experience was a quiet awakening of spirit, a rediscovery of connection, and a reflection to how simple acts of love can shape the soul. Simeon lives fully in each instant, with no separation between curiosity and affection. Watching him play, explore, and ask endless questions showed me how love expresses itself by the ability to fully inhabit a shared moment, to notice, to feel, and to connect. Staying with Demo, Tono and Simeon's family was genuinely a really lovely experience. The accommodation they had the volunteers staying in was amazing and they helped me to see so much of the surrounding region, I really feel like I have a taste for what southern Bulgaria is like! Simeon is a great kid with a lot of excitement for learning all things science - you just need to make sure you are capable of grabbing and maintaining his attention. I would definitely recommend this experience to other volunteers.

I really enjoyed my volunteer experience. Demo and Tono were incredibly generous and they really made sure I felt welcomed. The days were filled with lots of different activities and laughter. If you really enjoy being in an action-packed and lively environment with kids this is the place for you. The place is quite rural but it's surrounded by beautiful nature and mountains. So if you don't mind being away from the city and want to enjoy the serenity of this amazing place this is perfect for you.
