My time at the shelter was amazing! We were 6 volunteers during the time I was there, so we were able to split the tasks pretty well. Besides some other tasks, we got to spend a lot of time with the dogs, also cuddle and play with them a lot. The dogs are really friendly and appreciate all the attention they get. You can feel that the people there love what they're doing and are motivated to help all the dogs in need! It could be exhausting sometimes, but it's worth it! I'm already exited to return to the shelter one day!

The shelter is my home ❤️ I returned for a second time and have still not left because I adore the dogs and feel part of a family here I have worked in other shelters, with more money / amenities for the dogs but the shelter dogs are truly the happiest and this speaks volume! The dogs are so well looked after and receive so much love Jazmin is undeniably committed to the dogs and animal welfare, but also cares deeply about her volunteers . The schedule is fair, working conditions are good and you make such a huge difference to the lives of the dogs

The shelter is a truly special place. The work is varied and fair as everything is organised to improve the lives of the dogs and the dogs themselves are the absolute sweetest. The volunteers I worked alongside have a special place in my heart and Jaz is an absolute legend, the amount of work she does and for the length of time she's been doing it is inspirational. I also definitely recommend going along to a spay clinic if you get the chance. If you love dogs above all else, get down to the shelter and contribute to something bigger than yourself! I really loved my stay at the shelter. The dogs are lovely and I will really miss them. The daily tasks with the dogs are fun and if you really love dogs it's the place to be! There are also tasks that are different every day, such as painting, gardening, power washing etc. I would recommend this place to everybody who loves dogs and who has no problem that this place is in the middle of nowhere. (There is one lovely café within walking distance) I was very lucky with the people I got to meet during my stay. Thank you for this lovely time:)

I spent three weeks volunteering at the shelter, and loved this experience. Whilst the days are long, the work with the puppies is fun and encouraged to be creative for both dogs and humans. Tasks which help maintain the property are also quite diverse, I helped clean, paint, garden and organise. We have one day off per week, and whilst the property is quite remote, if determined, there are opportunities to visit surrounding areas. I feel proud to have been able to help out at the shelter, and will cherish my time here with the dogs and humans I now adore!

On the first day, it was a bit overwhelming, but it got more enjoyable with each passing day! I liked the routine; the tasks were varied, and I fell in love with the dogs. There were five of us volunteers, and we had such a great time together—it was amazing to meet so many people. I also really enjoyed the food, especially the red curry. Looking back, I really value this experience and would definitely recommend it. You're not only doing something for the dogs but also for yourself!

I had a great time at Muttland. It felt great to be part of the project. Beside of playing and carrying about the dogs which was so lovely, it felt good helping to build up this place. And if you are lucky you will be in a group of other volunteers and you will have even more fun.

The shelter has my whole heart -the most incredible place! Loved my stay so much I extended and am already planning my return trip The dogs are so happy and cared for, the sweetest souls! Volunteers are responsible for the dogs wellbeing, it is very hands on and you make a huge impact! Thank you to Best. A great leader, explains tasks and corrections so kindly and is fun to be around! Jazmin is incredibly, truly dedicated to the cause and works tirelessly. She is always open to feedback and seeking ways to improve the dogs and volunteer experience. Thank you all so much! I had a great time at the shelter. Although it can be really hard work some days, you get so much love and gratitude back from the dogs. Jazmin has created such a beautiful place for these dogs, they are very happy here for a reason. I am very grateful for all the things I have learned here and for the helpfulness of the whole team!

My experience at the shelter was wonderful and very rewarding. The dogs were absolutely lovely and adorable and they really needed the volunteers care. If you're looking to make a real impact, the shelter in the place for you. Jazmin is super experienced and I learned a lot about what it takes to run a nonprofit and really make a difference in the world. The area is also quite beautiful and on your days off you can go explore the beach or the nearby island! Definitely recommend :)
