I spent like 1 month in the hostel and it's fabulous. It is a small hostel in the center of The Hague, close to the main train stations and with a beautiful terrace in the canal. The team is lovely, I made lots of friends and we always shared a meal together like a family also there's events every week and people from everywhere Tasks are easy and the rooms are cool, sometimes a bit noisy (but like any other hostel) and the schedules are very flexible. Also every month there is a team meeting which was amazing! I will be coming back for some coffee! 😁

I enjoyed my time at the hostel, they have an amazing environment of work, they make u feel like home, they were like a family for more than a month, delicious breakfast and dinner made by Johnny by the other hand Patri, Peter and viola were the best in the reception, I miss them! and thanks Dennis for everything! I hope to see you all someday again!

Tuve una linda primera experiencia en Worldpackers; el ambiente del hostal es agradable, está muy bien ubicado, las tareas son simples y en general duran poco, es bueno tener en cuenta que el lugar es oscuro, con poca ventilación y aveces compartirás habitación con personas poco limpias. Podría sugerir mejorar la claridad de los turnos (varias veces tuvimos tareas extra que nos decían a última hora y los turnos terminaron durando un más de lo acordado). Guardo bonitos recuerdos del hostel y volvería sin duda, muchas gracias a Dennis, Marcel, Johnny y Patricia :)

Excelente ambiente de trabajo, se respetaron todos los acuerdos y aunque tuve que irme antes de lo acordado fueron comprensivos conmigo, excelente sitio bien ubicado y personas fantásticas!

This was my first volunteering experience and I liked it. I volunteered here in the middle of lockdown but still it was fun. The Hague is a beautiful city to explore and it was easy to travel to other cities on my free time. The hostel is in a good location and the tasks are fine. Thank you guys for the experience!

El hostel es muy pequeño y sucio, no cuenta con ventilación, las camas están amontonadas una al lado de la otra. El trato es muy frívolo, además el voluntario Kumar, que esta allí hace 6 meses, se cree el dueño del lugar, te pide trabajar más de la hora acordada, y si no lo haces se queja, es un poco psicópata. La cocina solo cuenta con una hornalla eléctrica, y tenes determinados horarios para usarla, que no son los concordantes con almuerzo ni cena. La gente que se hospeda deja mucho que desear con su higiene personal, y como el voluntariado es de limpieza, te encontras con cada desastre.

El trato con Denis se respetó ,respecto a las infraestructura del lugar es incómoda las habitaciones no tienen ventana lo cual no permitía una ventilación adecuada lo que generaba olor feo, no hay una sala de estar sino que es una recepción que cierra temprano y cuando hay eventos no se puede utilizar al igual que la cocina solo se podía usar en horarios complicados lo cual teníamos que comprar comida todos los días lo cual se me hacía muy oneroso. Ambiente laboral no fue el esperado, había una persona que estaba hace 6 meses que es voluntario pero se cree el jefe y no es colaborativo.

Dennis received me very well, he explained all about the Work and how it worked, The hostel is very easy to clean, usually have a lot respect with hours of work, Marcel and John is a good person and all time than I had in the hostel always respect me so much, the only thing than I really don't like is the guests, the hostels guests who live in the hostel are a little unhygienic so the bathroom needs to clean very well and is a kid mess with this but is easy. This was my first experience and i liked the time than I stayed the hostel ! Thank you guys for everything! I enjoyed meeting you!

This is my first experience as a WP and it went ok :) great location, everything you need is nearby. The working shifts were fair and flexible too, and the staff is always open to hear up from you. Thank you :)
