Detalhes

G`day guys and girls. If you want Some good Aussie hospitality, come and stay with us.
The volunteer work here counts for the 88 days for your visa as this area was subject to big flooding.
We are living on a 200 hectare farm in Rollands Plains. Located on the mid north coast, surrounded by hills and valleys, great for bushwalking and exploring if that's what you`re into. We are predominantly an arable farm growing a large amount of garlic. Seasonally, we also grow egg plant, rhubarb, ginger, turmeric, pumpkin, yukon, artichoke, cucumber and corn, and whatever else we can put in the ground. All of our grown produce is certified organic. We do not use any sprays or pesticides.

We also keep livestock. A herd of cattle, pigs, sheep and goats as well as chickens, ducks and guinea fowl.

If you are interested in bees, we have some and produce our own honey.

Our farm has a large dam which is great for swimming and fishing. There a large fresh water river close that is also great for swimming.

It is vital that you are confident in speaking and understanding English. We cannot cater for any special diets.

All meals are provided and we like to spend meal time socialising with our helpers, hearing the stories of their travels. We have hosted many backpackers through various sources. Please read our references from the other backpackers that have visited us.
WI-FI is available

Work varies and will depend on the time of year you are able to visit us. This will be discussed with you before you arrive.

Wauchope is the only train station close to us and we are happy to collect and drop off at this train station. Alternatively, if you are traveling by coach, we can pick up and drop off from Port Macquarie.
